Jim Mahoney

Senior Project Manager

photoJames Mahoney is Senior Project Manager for MEC Electrical Contractors overseeing all significant projects for the company. Projects Jim has worked on include upgrades to the electrical infrastructure and energy systems at Lowell General Hospital, as well as an upgrade to the hospital's chiller plant. Jim also managed the standby power installation at Enterprise Bank in Lowell, Mass.

Before joining MEC in 2009, Jim developed a stellar track record in the electrician contracting trade. He started as a licensed electrician, then steadily moved up the ranks over the years serving at various times as a foreman, project superintendent, project manager and senior project manager. He has worked on a wide variety of substantial electrical projects in many settings, including retail, commercial, institutional, industrial, educational and health care.

Jim is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and is an associate member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). He holds an OSHA 10 Hour Certificate.

Jim enjoys spending time with family and friends.
