Jeff Reed

Project Manager

photoJeffrey Reed is a Project Manager for MEC Electrical Contractors. He has supervised numerous noteworthy projects for the company, such as the electrical work for the entire eight-phase interior renovation of the corporate headquarters of Constant Contact, an email marketing industry leader.

Jeff has managed notable projects for MEC in the health care industry as well. For example, he oversaw the electrical upgrade of the surgery rooms and MRIs at Lowell General Hospital, as well as the electrical work for the hospital's new heart and vascular wing. He managed the electrical upgrade for CT Scans at Winchester Hospital, and was also responsible for the electrical work at an addition to the emergency room at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass.

Starting his career as an electrician in the 1980s, Jeff became a project manager and estimator for various electrical contractors prior to joining MEC.

He is certified by the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), and obtained an Associates Degree as an Electrical Technician in 1982 from the New Castle (Pa.) School of Technology. He obtained a project management certificate from Purdue University in 2006 and holds an OSHA 10 Hour Certificate.

Jeff enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
