Audio Visual Specialist

photoMichael Milano is a Technology Specialist for MEC Technologies. Mike has a wealth of experience in wireless networks, structured cabling, fiber optics, security systems and audio visual systems in the commercial setting. His hobby is technology and he brings that passion to the work setting.

His particular area of expertise is designing, installing and maintaining audio visual systems for corporate conference rooms. He regularly works with Winchester Hospital, Lowell General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Properties, and Gulf Oil/Cumberland Farms among other companies. Clients routinely consult with Mike, knowing he will promptly and effectively troubleshoot issues and devise state-of-art solutions for their telecommunications needs.

Prior to joining MEC Technologies in 2009, Mike worked as a service technician and project manager for companies specializing in fiber optics, telecommunications, security systems and audio visual services.

Mike has obtained the following professional certifications: Extron Designer; OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA Confined Space; ASHE Construction; Lutron Control; and STI Firestopping Design and Installation.

Mike is a member of the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA).

He thoroughly enjoys tinkering at home with the latest electronic communication devices making sure they are integrated in one seamless stream of data and telecommunications. When Mike isn't exploring the latest technology, he likes to spend time with family and friends.
