Safety

The policy of MEC Technologies is to provide a safe workplace for its employees. MEC Technologies has and maintains a published Safety Program. Our safety program is headed by a safety director, whose responsibility is to ensure that all employees are following program guidelines. Every department head conducts safety training on a regular basis including toolbox talks. Weekly inspections are conducted, and issues are addressed immediately. The OSHA 10 hour safety course is a requirement of all employees.

MEC Technologies holds many safety certifications including the ASHE certification giving our employees the training necessary for working in healthcare environments. As a result we have become the contractor of choice for leading hospitals and medical facilities in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire areas.

Seeking continuous improvement in safety, the safety director makes frequent recommendations and implements modifications to the companywide safety program. Measures are taken to eliminate hazards on every project.
